Our Letter to You
Dear Community Supporter,
Since 2008, the former Trumbull School has transformed into the Trumbull Community Center (TCC). More than just a building, it is a hub for activities enjoyed by local residents of all ages. An estimated 4,000 visitors attend an event, activity, or team practice each year.
To finance the ongoing energy, insurance, and maintenance costs, we rely on rentals, memberships, fundraisers, and undesignated donations. Memorial donations and special project gifts are pooled and used for facility upgrades, many times with the help of matching grants.
Here are some of the ways you can support Trumbull Community Center:
- Memberships (annual $25, or Lifetime $250) show support and benefit you through reduced rental rates and gym usage when it is not reserved.
- Volunteer to join our team. All kinds of help is always needed for facility management, event planning, food donations, and coordination.
- Attend our Christmas Soup Supper fundraiser the 1st Sunday in December. Santa attends annually and gives this event a thumbs up.
- Rent a space in our facility to help defray our facility costs.
- Donate. Gifts may be made in honor or memory of individuals.
- Designate TCC as a memorial choice. We offer a funeral rental without charge when TCC is one of the designated memorial choices and coordinate volunteer help to set up the facility and serve lunch at the family's request. Memorial Board Plaques are available for to honor departed loved ones ($250 in cumulative memorials).
- Estate gifts impact the organization beyond your lifetime.
